New Delhi Celebrates Spice Month
Spice Month is an internationally-celebrated affair and to celebrate, New Delhi (160 Ellis Street)–one of the city’s premiere Indian restaurants–is going to be serving up six spicy specials for the rest of April.
Super Secret Indian Pop-Up
The much lauded Washington D.C.-based Indian food pop-up, Hush Supper Club, which serves Gujarati vegetarian Jain-influenced cuisine (Gujus in the house!), is making an appearance in the Bay Area for four dates.
First Bites: Bamboo Asia
Working in the Financial District, I am always looking for places to grab a quick bite to eat. So whenever a new place opens, it definitely grabs my attention.
Kasa Indian Truck Rolls Out
I reported earlier on the soon-to-be launch of Kasa Indian Eatery’s new food truck, well the wait is over: the truck will be soft-launching tomorrow, Wednesday July 13 at Vinyl Wine Bar from 6-9pm.
Recipe: Delicious Dal Stew

Kasa the Indian Truck
In yet more Indian eatery news, Kasa is on the verge of launching their new Kasa Indian Truck. The mobile food vendor will be serving up their usual chai and kati rolls with a few other specially added items like Pav Bhaji. Initially the truck will only be at Off the Grid events but they are trying to get support to serve in the FiDi.
Some Like it Hot
And by ‘hot’, I mean spicy of course. Starting today Dosa Fillmore is introducing a new secret chile pepper menu for BlackboardEats subscribers. Apparently though, nothing on the menu is super hot, and most of the dishes can be adjusted to taste. So enjoy.

The folks at Kasa Eatery have been hosting a pop-up at The Corner (18th and Mission) on Wednesdays in March (next week will be the last Kasa pop-up there). Tonight the theme is The Perfect Indian Wedding: Vegan Indian Food. Yum!
