It’s that time of year: Tuesday, February 5 is IHOP’s National Pancake Day. From 7 a.m. until 10 p.m., restaurant-goers can enjoy a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes at any IHOP location.

In return for the free fluffiness, IHOP will encourage donations to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Locally, all funds will be going to Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland. Since launching National Pancake Day in 2006, IHOP has raised over $10 million to support local organizations; their goal is $3 million this year.

In San Francisco, you can find IHOP at 200 Beach Street (at Powell) and 2299 Lombard Street (at Pierce). Dozens of other locations are participating throughout the Bay Area.

If you happen to miss National Pancake Day, you can still donate to Children’s Hospital online or sign up to volunteer.
