Pig & Pie Now Offers Weekend Brunch

After getting a handle on some of the everyday situations that face a first-time restaurant owner, Miles Pickering with Pig & Pie in the Mission is now offering brunch to customers.

The restaurant, which focuses mainly on housemade sausages and slices of pie, began brunch service earlier this month. Pig & Pie will be offering up several brunch classics and a few of its own unique variations from 10:30-2:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. Below is a look at the menu:

Poached Eggs and soft polenta
Choice of bacon, breakfast sausage or head cheese. $9

Green Eggs and Ham
Gruyere cheese and toast. $9

Cast Iron Bread Pudding
Seasonal fruit & clotted cream. $8

Biscuits and Gravy
Marjoram-cheddar biscuit and sausage gravy. 1 ($4) or 2 ($7) biscuits.

Fried Eggs and Roasted Market Veg
Harissa creme fraiche and toast. $10

Chicken Salad Sandwich
Taragon aioli, walnuts, butter lettuce and pickled red onions. $9

House Salad
Arugula, preserved lemon, shallot confit, hazelnuts and estero gold cheese. $7

Sides
French Fries, Coleslaw, Bacon, Breakfast Sausage, Headcheese, Polenta $4
Toast $2

Michelada or Mimosa
$6
