Celebrating those tiny little bivalves, the 4th annual OysterFest is being held on Waterbar’s bayside patio on Saturday, September 15 from noon – 3:00 p.m.

The celebration of sustainable oysters will provide guests with plenty of great food and drinks. Among the participating local restaurants and farms: Waterbar, EPIC Roasthouse, Farallon, Local Mission Eatery, Saltwater Oyster Depot, Drakes Bay Oyster Company, Hama Hama and Picklewwed Community Oyster Farm. Several Napa Valley wines and Bay Area micro-brews will also be offered.

There will be a hot sauce comeptition, oyster shucking challenge and live music from local band Fleeting Trance. Along with oysters, Waterbar’s culinary team, including executive chef Parke Ulrich and pastry chef Emily Luchetti, will also be providing guests with hors d’oeuvres and sweet treats.

Admission is $50 (and tickets are going fast) with proceeds from ticket sales benefitting the San Francisco Surfrider Foundation, an organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans and beaches.

Waterbar is located at 399 The Embarcadero South.
