Yigit Pura—of Top Chef: Just Desserts fame—is opening a brand new 1,500 square foot patiserrie in early September right in Macy’s Union Square. Tout Sweet will feature a variety of desserts, plus breakfast and lunch items to grab while shopping.

The grand opening was going to be August 25, but construction delays have pushed it back until Saturday, September 8. Be sure to add this to your calendar now as the first 100 guests at Tout Sweet will receive a gift from Yigit.

Visitors to Tout Sweet can expect Yigit’s trademark French macarons, small cakes, layered parfaits and a rotating menu of seasonal offerings. The breakfast and lunch menus will include ingredients from the Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market, and will feature items including specialty breakfast sandwiches and pastries, organic salads, soups, quiches, and the Grilled B3 sandwich, made with bread, butter and burrata.

Yigit, originally from Ankara, Turkey, is really excited to be opening the patisserie in San Francisco, where he has been living for years. “I appreciate the San Francisco Bay Area not only for its access to the bounty from California’s small family farms, but because it is also a melting pot of many cultures,” he says. “These qualities bring a unique opportunity to constantly experiment with different flavors and explore a fun way of approaching classic desserts that I am now delighted to share with residents and guests of the Bay Area.”

For more information on Tout Sweet, visit www.toutsweetsf.com. Opening day is Saturday, September 8 and the patisserie will be open Monday through Saturdays from 10am to 9pm and Sundays from 10am to 7pm.
