New Eateries at The Westfield

Shoppers at downtown’s Westfield Mall will soon have a few more food options to choose from. This month there will be a new Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop (yum!) and then we’ll have La Boulange du Dome and M.Y. China by Martin Yan coming up.

Say what you will about the quality of Ghirardelli chocolates, but their old-fashioned sundaes are delicious and this will be a good new addition to the Concourse Level. No word on the exact opening date, only that it is slotted for April.

Later this spring we can expect La Boulange du Dome to open, the newest from the La Boulange Bakery, which will feature their signature rich and buttery pastries and French Bistro-inspired dishes. We’ll have more on this from our writer Luis Chong.

The last big name to come to the Westfield is Martin Yan’s M.Y. China. The chef and television personality (of “Yan Can Cook”) will be opening his restaurant in late summer and will be featuring modern Chinese cuisine including dim sum, hand-pulled la mein noodles, and wok dishes.
